Sentosa,Tanjong Beach

Dear Diary,

Today we went to the beach to celebrate Yogi and Wulf's birthday. We did a mini Picnic there. There were some hiccups along the way as there were inconsiderate people around. There were a group of man, we suspect they were drunk as they have a lot of alcohol smell on them. They started to play soccer in front of our space. They almost kicked one of ours babies. They still laughed and asked us to join their game. As it is a public area, we can't do much about it and move to another spot. Well, i believe in karma...the next moment, they kicked the ball into the sea and they couldn't retrieve it as ball keep drifting away. Well, that's none of my business already. We carried on with our picnic.

Yogi and wulf's mama prepared a not of food for the furkids and all of them look so yummy!

That's a lot of effort! i seriously think we can start our own bakery soon!

Bb and clover really had a lot of fun running around the beach. clover love the sand so much that she digged and rolled in the sand!

digging her face in the sand

happily rolling in the sand

digged her face in the sand again

lastly, she gave this mischievous face

Bb found a new interest recently. she loves the water! she loves to dip her paws into the water and
goof around!

see how happy she is dipping her paw in the sea! hahaha!

im glad she found her new interest. hopefully one day she will start to swim on her own.

These are some of the pictures!

Hazy Days.

Dear Diary,

It has been hazy for these few weeks. The news also mentioned that the haze will stay till November? Bb and clover has not been going out for the past few weeks. I am also worried about their small lungs and I have prepared them for the haze.
Let me share some things that I prepared for them!

1. Air Purifier - well, this is a compulsory! with those dusty air particles floating around.
This is our air purifier. Not the most popular, but it really works for us!

2. Aromatherapy - For relaxation. The smell of the haze can be quite smelly. Its to get rid of smoky smell, even though i didn't open my windows much.

This is my burner. Its an electrical burner that uses a light bulb as the heat source. It is safe to use throughout the night.

These are my small collections of essential oils, no brands in particular. I bought them from many places, with all different benefits. I usually add a few drops of Tea Tree Essential oil to a pail of water to mop the floor. It acts like an anti bacterial disinfectant.

3. AIR - CON!!

Finally, Air-con! Its one of the most important household essential. The air con help to ventilate and cool the house. Apparently, during this haze season, air tends to be very stale. I avoid opening my window and my main door.

That's just about it. Bb and clover are just so bored during this period of time. We play toys together and do some tricks together.

Well, take care everybody during this period of hazy time! I believe everyone have taken their own precautions, so stay save people!!

with love,

Bumver Mummy

My Girls meals

,Dear diary,

today i m writing about my girl's diet. im always very excited to share all about their food becuz their diet are all home cooked! As much as i can afford, i will give my best to my girls. Sometimes, when i have the time, i will bake cookies or dehydrate chicken breast or other meat for raw treats.
I know certain recipes:

  1. Peanut Butter Cookies
  2. Banana Milk Cookies
  3. Cheesy Cookies ultimate bb and clover's favourite!

These are the Cheesy cookies

Also, i bake their birthday cake too! i recently learnt how to bake their cake and add the topping. i did a lot of research on the topping. basically is just converting the human cake recipe and convert to edible recipe for dogs! Eg, just using organic wheat flour or other healthier flour. If oil is needed, only Extra Virgin Olive Oil. If sugar, we can use organic Honey.

I shall show you the cake!

This is Clover's 2nd Birthday cake! Its Lamb cake!

i love to try out new things to bake or cook. I love to see my girls enjoying the food that i made.these made every effort worth while.

Lets go onto their daily meals. Today i baked rosemary Chicken Thighs. you can do some research on natural herbs to add on nutrients and extra flavour to their food since no salt or seasoning is allowed on their food.
I will go to the market once a month to stock up their food. i will buy 1kg Lamb, 1 whole duck, 500g pork, 2 pieces of salmon and 5 chicken thighs. these will last me for about a month or so. bb and clover dont like chicken breast so i didnt buy those.
I will cook the meat with a healthy portion of vegetables. the only few i cook are just carrots, pumpkins, Broccoli, spinach etc. Spices i use are only Rosemary, Basil Leaves or Coriander. show you today's dinner!

Lamb Chop!
I have already separate it from the bones

Cheese Pork Balls.
There are carrots and spinach as filling!

Duck Soup!

cheesy Lamb Patty!

After some of the pictures, you will realise that i love to work with cheese becuz its bb's favourite! she loves anything with cheese! especially when its melted! These are some of my favourite meals for them. I also don't add carbo in their diets as i learnt that rice is a slow digesting carbo for them and will cause them to be fat. I tried brown rice or other organic carbo but i think meat is the best and more nutrients for them. They are born carnivores anyway, so shall feed them according to nature!
i will feed them Primal on my "off" days so to ensure their balance.

I have stopped kibbles since long ago as i read its reviews and it sounds so scary! i will not trust their life on kibbles.

Thats all for today's sharing! Good night!

East Coast park Saturday

Dear Diary,

we met up with our friends to have a walk at East Coast park. we brought our cameras to take good pictures. not much, because we spent so much time chit chatting. we bought coffee and sat one corner s, and have a drink and chatted our afternoon away. i love these kind of afternoon, love the slow walks with the friends that i love.

The afternoon had ended so fast that we had to go back home to prepare dinner for our furkids. we went back home and wash up and met for dinner. i kept bb and clover at home as they are already very tired. i felt so loved for the whole evening when my friends took care of me and i felt like we are a family.

After dinner, we went for some light shopping at the supermarket. then, supper! We spent the whole day together and i felt so warm! we chatted till 1.30am and they sent me home as it was late already. it feels good to be loved by friends.

i have friends who love me as much. ever since bumver daddy is overseas, true friends came around to look after me. as people always says, you never know who are your true friends until something happens. i m glad i found true friendships and i will love them as much as they loved me. Life is great!

Clean and Green

Dear Diary,

who doesn't love clean and green? i love to go to Sengkang Riverside Park. its clean and its green and not many people there as well.
Clover is crazy over bicycles and kids. so i have to find places where there are lesser kids and bicycles around. i love to take photos and was intending to do a mini photo shoot for my girls. and in order for that, i need to find a place where i can let them off leash.

So these are the photos taken!

Evening with Cudtlez the Japanese Spitz

Dear Diary,

Today we went to one of my friend's house for a visit. It was a last min decision after our dinner when she invited me to her house. i was thinking this is also a good opportunity to take a good picture of Cudtlez.

Cudtlez is one of my girls close pal because they grew up with him. Cudtlez's owners are also our close friends. When Bumbie was 1+ years old, they brought him home from Wellfond pets. He was so small then. he loves to chase Bumbie around the dog run and he wouldn't stop until he catches her. But as he grows older, his size gets bigger and his strength was no longer the same, so Bumbie couldn't take the strength. they stopped playing for a while till clover came in. Clover love to make fun of him and disturb him. Now that he is older, i guess he understands that the girls are too small size to play rough with him. so their hobby now is to sit and chill together.

He is also very protective of the girls.once, bumbie was walking around and a black dog followed her. Cudtlez ran to pin that black dog down.... quite fierce la..... lucky he didnt attack the black dog. haaa~!

Anyway, these are some of the Pictures that i took last night at their place. haha.

Treat balancing. he is good at it!

hiding under the table while my friend's mum is having her dinner.

Cudtlez is too tall. see how much bigger he is? last time when he was a puppy he was so much smaller than the girls!

nose sniffing. clover has more dominant character in her so he is sniffing her with caution.

these two are natural cuz they grow up together.

that's all for today!

My Birthday!

Dear Diary,

Today is my Birthday and my friends wanted to celebrate my Birthday at Ah B cafe. This cafe is located near TurfCity. There is a Dog Swimming Pool too.

As today is the weekend, there are many owners bringing their dogs for a deep in the pool. Parking there is very limited unless you don't mind parking a little further at the Grandstand and walk towards the cafe. Lucky when i arrived, there was one parking space for me. the cafe was quite packed today but it was fun! the cafe is very spacious and clean. the shop owners are quite particular about the cleaniness which is a good thing. but the attitude towards their customers, i believe there are room for improvement.

The boys were wearing belly band so to avoid them from marking around. but the shop owners told us to still watch the boys. i find this quite rude as this is a dog cafe. we owners are already responsible enough to let the boys wear the belly band, but as a dog cafe owner, they should be more open about those little pee and poo around.

Food wise, not too bad. Just that i feel the Drinks are quite overpriced. one root beer float is $7. one cup of tea is $6..........

Overall, i will still patronize this cafe again but not on weekends i guess.. the roads there are too overcrowding with cars!
