Ouji the bunny

Dear Diary,

After years of considerations, i have decided to take the courage to include a bunny into our little family. I always wanted a bunny, it was my dream to have a bunny in my life. I was afraid to commit as bunnies have the average of 10 years. I was trying to find out more on how to care for them. Once u believe that i was ready, i committed. It took a lot of faith and courage to do it.

Meet Ouji!

He is a Netherlands Dwarf Rabbit. He is a very gentle boy and very obedient. He can get along very well with the girls as well. Every morning, the girls will look forward for him to get out from his crade. Hop hop hop!

After years and years of research, i finally had the confident to take care of a bunny. I learnt that a bunny needs a lot of attention too. Patience and love and they can be trained as well. They do not have a lot of facial expressions but they express their mood thru their actions. They can be afraid easily so have to be very gentle and earn their trust. Especially now that i have a Guniea Pig at home, i have to be careful as research states that a bunny poop/pee can be toxic to a Guniea Pig. Well, i dont think Hugo will be interested to come out from his cozy little corner anyway. haha. I had to also learn how to handle my time fairly to all my other fur babies especially my 2 princesses, Bumbie and Clover. I have to make sure that they don't get jealous and get along with a new member. Well, that wasn't a problem since they can get along with anyone.Clover just needs a little more time.

I tried bringing him out, not on leash, just him around in my arms. He seems to enjoy being outdoors with us! He loves to see people walking pass, feel the breeze and close his eyes. He is not an ordinary bunny! he is special! i thought bunnies are timid and shy. he warms up to people so fast and get used to his environment very fast too! I was so amazed!

Enjoy his pictures!

We brought him to the vet for his first check up and the vet said that he is all healthy and good! We brought him to Amber Vet for his check up and will bring him back there to neuter him in 2 more months time.

Overall, he is a happy bunny!
